We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

  • 256-bit SSL/TLS encryption for all data in transit.
  • Encrypted data storage at rest.
  • Role-based access controls within each school portal.
  • Data for all schools is held in shared database tables and kept separate per school by PostgreSQL row-level security, enforced inside the database itself. Each school reaches its data through its own portal at app.edunodex.in/s/<SCHOOL_CODE>.
  • School data, including backups, is stored in India on India-based servers in Mumbai.

6. Xentovia AI and Data Privacy

How our AI features handle your data:

  • When you use AI features (such as the AI Assistant, report-card remarks or document reading), the relevant text or image is sent, through our own proxy, to third-party AI model providers, which may process it outside India.
  • We send only the text or image needed for the task you asked for.
  • AI-generated insights are derived solely from the school's own data.
  • We do not allow these providers to use your data to train their models.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you or your school administrator requests account deletion, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Delete your data (subject to legal obligations).
  • Withdraw consent for data processing at any time.
