Preschool or playschool?
EdunodeX has a preschool mode with daily updates for parents, nap and meal logs, milestones and authorised pickup. Most preschools have fewer than 200 children, and Lite needs at least 200, so the EdunodeX plan, with no minimum, is the one that applies. Ask us about founding-school pricing.
Questions schools ask before they sign up
Is there a free plan?
No free plan, but a 30-day free trial with the full product and no card. Setup, data import and staff training are included in both paid plans: we train your office staff on a call, no course needed. There is no one-time licence to buy.
Why per student per month and not a one-time price?
A school system has running costs every month: WhatsApp messages, payment gateway, SMS OTPs, storage, nightly backups and updates when a browser or a government portal changes. A vendor paid once has no reason to answer the phone in year two. We are paid every quarter, so we lose the money the day a school is unhappy.
Where is our data stored?
On servers in Mumbai, India, with a daily backup kept in Mumbai as well. Each school's records are separated from every other school's at the database level. When a school uses the AI Assistant, the question and the records needed to answer it are sent to an external AI model provider to prepare the reply.
Can we take our data out?
Yes. Students, fee ledgers, payments, payroll and compliance reports export to Excel, CSV, PDF or Tally from inside EdunodeX at any time. A school that leaves gets a complete copy of its records on request.
Can we import our students and fee records from Excel?
Yes. Students, staff and past fee payments import from an Excel sheet with a preview before anything is saved. The first import is part of setup and included in the price.
Which languages does EdunodeX work in?
The full app works in English, Hindi, Tamil and Kannada. Sign-in also works in Bengali, Marathi, Telugu, Gujarati, Malayalam, Punjabi, Odia, Assamese and Urdu. On the EdunodeX plan, chat replies to parents in the language they write in.
Can the price change after we join?
Only with notice. We tell you at least 30 days before a price change takes effect, as our Terms of Service say. Every school pays the same list price.
Can we install it on our own computer?
No. EdunodeX runs in the browser and in the parent, teacher, driver and admin apps. There is nothing to install, patch or back up at the school.
Can I sell EdunodeX to schools in my area?
Yes, through the EdunodeX partner program. Partners earn recurring commission on every school they bring, and the school is billed and supported by EdunodeX.
